Tamil Nadu has a tropical climate, which is more equable than in north India - the summers are not as hot, nor the winters as cold. The maximum temperature is rarely abouve 43' C and the minimum seldom below 25'C. Coastal regions also get quite warm and humid during summer months but the nights are usually cool, thanks to the sea breeze that sets in during the afternoons |
